Justice Gap demands review of new models of legal services

In late June, the Florida Special Committee to Improve Legal Service Delivery submitted its final report to the state Supreme Court, recommending that Florida adopt an Innovation Lab program for the practice of law, based on a regulatory sandbox model currently in use in Utah.[1]

Days later, Michael Cherry, chairman of the Washington State Law Practice Council, met with justices of the Washington Supreme Court to present a plan for a legal regulatory sandbox in the state.[2]
